Inspiration

I'd like to challenege the traditional expectation and perception on asian elderly communities. It’s a love letter to the fierce, funny, and unstoppable women who raised us.

What it does

Street Grandma is a 2-minute rap/dance music video where Chinese grandmas bring hip-hop to the alleyway.

I wanted to make people smile, and they did. When I shared Street Grandma on LinkedIn, it sparked hundreds of comments, from laughter to nostalgia. Some said it reminded them of their own grandmas’ sass and confidence.
