~ Introduction

The pandemic scenario we live today requires isolation and social distancing to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Thus, we need solutions to keep everyone safe at home.

We propose an app to keep people isolated with a Safety detector app for Pandemic environments. This solution doesn’t store personal data, avoiding all GDPR questions altogether.

Aware that sometimes one needs to leave home for basic daily life activities, we propose a system of building up credit where you have a goal, and the more you stay safe, the more you score! With this app, you can prove you’ve been safe, and show your safety credit to other people.

Using this app you build up Street Credit, that you can show to others to show that you are safe. When you decide to go out (and use your credit), it will be a safe excursion out. However, going out will impact your credit, so choose wisely.

Additional target: goals. To keep people motivated.

Track your history for the days you’ve been home and be proud of that. Everyday, after achieving your goal, you will be rewarded with a stamp to show you stayed safe. In the end, after collecting the 14 stamps, you may celebrate the end of the quarantine.

~ Problem Statement

During Covid-19 crisis, it has been shown that the confinement is vital for the reduction of the contamination. Thus, it is important to keep track of people’s displacements and motivating them to stay at home as much as possible.

~ Solution

We propose a mobile app for Android and iOS that tracks your displacements and you time at home. While at home you score more credits, motivating you to stay safe/isolated.

~ Features

The counting of street credit considers the distance and the importance of your displacement, for example:

• Staying at home = 10 credits
• Walking the dog = -8 credits
• Going to the drugstore = -2 credits

Then the best way to score credit is staying at home.

Whenever you leave home, the negative points will remain for 7 days, and if you have no symptoms, then you get a full recover of credits. If you have symptoms of Covid-19 infection, then you score only 3 daily points until you are healthy again.

~ How we built it

The app is built using react-native and it doesn’t store personal data, avoiding all GDPR issues.

~ Future features

Adding tests (corona tests and immunity tests) you can improve your credit by taking and scanning test results.
