What's next for StreamPulse Codex: Real-Time Twitch EventSub Chaos Engine
Inspiration
High-velocity Twitch chat and Channel Points redemptions are chaotic and unsafe to wire straight into a live stream. StreamPulse Codex turns them into structured, streamer-approved interactive moments.
What it does
- RFC-compliant EventSub HMAC-SHA256 verifier with constant-time comparison, a 600-second replay window, future clock-skew guard and message-ID dedupe.
- Explicit EventSub reconnect state machine that never reports live_ready if any required subscription fails (degraded_partial).
- 100-Hz viewer chaos poll engine (!gravity_low, !spawn_boss, !heal_party, !invert_controls) with anti-brigading cooldowns and deterministic tie-breaking.
- Channel Points redemption guard with ownership checks, per-redemption idempotency and XSS / prompt-injection sanitising of viewer input.
- Human-gated streamer deck: Autopilot is disabled by default, LLM/MCP callers cannot escalate privileges, and approved proposals go to a read-only OBS Browser Source overlay.
- Byte-identical 600-second, 7-phase stream arc simulation that runs in under 0.5s with a deterministic SHA-256 result digest.
How we built it
Python with zero external dependencies, a loopback control deck and OBS overlay server, and a JSON-RPC 2.0 MCP stdio server. Pipeline: Claude Opus 5.5 (design), OpenAI Codex GPT-5.6 Luna (architecture and code review), Sakura AI Engine Kimi-K2.7-Code (implementation).

Challenges
Getting reconnect semantics right, making redemptions idempotent, and keeping untrusted viewer text away from the overlay and the LLM.
What's next
Live EventSub runs on a real channel and richer overlay scenes.
