We designed this application with students in mind to advise the best possible subscription plan based on their favorite genres, budget, and more.
What it does
Enter two services of your choice and calculate your overlap to get recommendations on how you can save money by choosing one over the other!
Challenges we ran into
We faced difficulties connecting our database to the frontend. We learned how to connect to the cloud
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're really proud of the SQL/AWS database implementation. None of us had ever worked with backend in that way, so it was cool to see the database come together and be accessible with out code.
What's next for Streamline
We have the algorithms and technical abilities to implement a more advanced implementation. Given more time, we would take advantage of it and create a working algorithm base.
