Inspiration

It was designed with the idea to streamline the giveaway process for influencers and content creators.

What it does

This site allows streamers to share a simple URL link on their social media channels for their communities to engage with the streamer's giveaways. When the promo is completed or ended by the host, the winners are automatically randomly selected from the entrants.

How we built it

Using scalable decentralized technologies through Cloudflare Workers & Durable Objects the website is serverless and built to use the Edge Network.

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to work the multiple technology levels and getting them to speak to each other seamlessly. Outdated API documentation, or in some cases non-existent, made it challenging to try multiple code examples before things started to click together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having a very nicely designed website and being able to produce a serverless website that can possibly become a major toolset for content creators and influencers.

What we learned

That proper updated documentation with API libraries when utilizing multiple technologies to talk to each other is key.

What's next for Streamer.promo

Continue to build the proof of concept and work with the Sequence Wallet team and CloudFlare team to ensure the site is fully optimized. We're proud of how its turning out and will continue to work on it and begin asking content creators to test the site before launching it live.
