What it does

A platform for connecting ordinary people around the world. (Needs: to have a (mobile) internet connection.) The covid-19 crisis confines us and interrupts (temporarily?) our possibility of traveling and discovering other cultures. While people suffer from isolation, others will gladly share their daily life with strangers in a horizontal and enriching exchange. In this platform "stream your town", users would be in turn "visitors" and "guides" in order to discover / make discover a facet of their daily lives. In the context of confinement, this platform can be used by a person suffering from "isolation" in a “low rent housing” in town with someone living in the countryside and offering to share their daily stroll live and discuss their lifestyle habits. A kind of “individualized e-tourism” by videoconference. We can also imagine sharing the preparation of a traditional dish, or exchanging on the culture of his garden To allow a smooth and inclusive exchange, a simultaneous translation interface would be necessary. The platform would evolve in a second time “post covid-19 crisis” into a real opportunity to discover a city and exchange with a "local guide" without moving (the journeys in planes not being assured and the physical mixing of the population not desirable).
