Inspiration
We got our inspiration from 2 apps, STRAVA and Duolingo. But we implement some new functionalities for the purpose of our project, which it's more focused on any kind of student trying to improve on their academic results.
What it does
This web app serve as a useful tool that allows students to reinforce good academic attitudes and help them achieve their academic goals.
How we built it
We spent approximately 2 hours for the planning and the main idea that we were going to focus on. Then we decided to split the work between all the 4 participants of the team (Home Page, Registration, Timer and Introduction). And then we ensure that everybody's code work together and at the end we just focused on the design.
Challenges we ran into
We encounter some problems. We had problems when creating new branches and merging them into the original branch. This set us back a couple of hours because the code we had got lost.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Even though we got problems with the code we had we still managed to work together to fix things correctly and since this is our first hackathon we think we did a great job.
What we learned
We learned how to work in team especially divide tasks and support each other whenever a problem arised.
What's next for StreakIn
We might try to implement new features to keep the page interesting for people who could actually work.
