How we built it

After in-depth research on the problem, our team developed the solution using highly scalable technologies. We have selected MongoDB for our database because of its compatibility with NodeJs and designed and architected our data models so that upcoming changes or even major pivots on the core solution will be possible. We have developed and built our API using ExpressJs and GraphQl on a secure NodeJs server. We are using ReactJs on the client side, managing our store using ReduxJs and hosting our server and our react application on Azure. We also use our application's embedded Microsoft Power Virtual Agent to improve customer relationships.

Challenges we ran into

Building a strong and scalable platform that can address the core problem and be user-friendly was challenging. Providing insight from collected data that can be helpful, useful, and easy to understand for the company’s decision-makers using AI is another challenge we are tackling.

What we learned

Whether they are aware or not, the most critical decision a leader can make is the one which includes or excludes the knowledge and experience of every employee in the organization with the creation of the strategic plan. The second most critical decision for the leader is making strategic thinking accessible and understandable company-wide.

What's next for Stratstacks

The frontend needs to be updated to the UI/UX prototype seen in the videos/images.

The market is changing, and so are the strategies of small and medium-sized businesses. Stratstacks will make this adaptation possible. The data we collect can improve business models and help companies build stronger, more resilient businesses by offering decision-making capabilities around trends and outliers found in their organization.

We also want to introduce industry-specific Stratstacks to provide even more value to companies looking for more nuanced strategies.
