Strategy KAN

Inspiration

We recognized a pattern in each and every successfully human enterprise has exploited a virtuous circle based on Knowledge – Awareness – Networking. We also recognized that failures can be explained by the inability to create a sustainable dynamic in the KAN virtuous circle. We also believe than in each individual there is at least one talent that can be used to make a living. And we believe that when you exploit this talent, then your job is no more a “bullshit job” but a fulfilling occupation. So when we hear “she was the right guy in the right place at the right time” we do not hear destiny or luck but a well working KAN virtuous circle. The issue is that we do not all have the same opportunities to create a sustainable KAN strategy. Strategy-KAN is to change the odds.

The interest for this EUvsVirus hackathon is this process Strategy-KAN can free talents and speed up the recovery of local societal, environmental and economic dynamics.

What it does

Strategy KAN works on :

developing talents thanks to the Init KAN (I KAN) meetings that are both networking and educational meetings.
blooming opportunities thanks to the I KAN meetings plus online tools that protect IPR and use an AI for everyone to find what suits him/her.
supporting the development of ideas up to TRL9 by supporting the creation of teams thanks to KAN DO meetings that are here to support teams creation since the earliest stages.
funding sustainable societal, environmental and economic successes thanks to a funding scheme.

Challenges I ran into

To work, there must be enough people to participate. Our first try wasn’t successful due to a lack of commitment of some of the organizers. Consequently we never really had the opportunity to challenge the funding scheme. We would also need to create a new website and AI to ease the navigation among the opportunities.

What's next for Strategy KAN

Next steps are : 1) Create marketing materials for Strategy KAN 2) Validate the funding scheme 3) Put a new website online and start the development of the next generation of online tools.
