Inspiration

We were inspired by many different game websites. Most of the game websites we saw weren't very educational and didn't really challenge their users to think. We wanted to create a site where children and people of all ages go to challenge their brains while also having fun. We wanted to show parents that games aren't as bad for children as they think it is.

What it does

Our project allows users to access different games that we made on Scratch. The games were made to challenge the user and to get them thinking. We wanted to make the games challenging so the users can feel accomplished after beating the games.

How we built it

We built our project using Google Sites and Scratch. We made the games using Scratch and added them to Google Sites to make it easier for our users to find different games.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge we ran into was coding each game on Scratch. The hardest game we had to code was Chess. There were many pieces that had to be coded individually. A second challenge we faced was trying on the "Super Daniel Jump." We had to make multiple costumes for his character.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were all proud to finish the project with every game working smoothly. We were so happy to see the games run without any bugs. It took us many hours to accomplish this.

What we learned

We learned how collaboratively work together. We managed the time we took on each game and ended up finishing them on time. We also learned different skills like coding, design, and web creation from each other.

What's next for Strategic Games

We want to be able to include more games on our site in the future. We are also planning on adding a section where people can buy board games or puzzles. We know that everyone's body works differently, so we want to make sure that everyone is able to enjoy the games while learning as well.
