Inspiration

There are several applications out there regarding managing stocks based on the different locations. Wanted to create an application in which a user can see how Global markets performing and if they are allowed can buy /sell stocks from different markets in one place.

What it does

How we built it

It was built using Bolt and backend's like netlify and supabase

Challenges we ran into

We ran into several challenges during the process, like to show the stock prices in the respective currency from where the company is listed in, even after that the final invested value should always in converted to base currency in USD.

Other challenges were, we need to simple yet powerful UI should be accessibility complaint and mobile friendly which later on can be converted into dedicated iOS/Android app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I can say it is really came up the way I wanted this, beautiful UI (Including Dark and Light theme), seamless integration with markets API's and backend servers working smoothly

What we learned

We learned a lot from this that one can use powerful AL like bolt, to create such applications with beautiful AI, only thing is one should have clear idea what they are building for, if they give prompts accordingly.

What's next for Stox IQ

Dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android. More refinement, Integration of other markets from the globe
