Inspiration

I was inspired by the growing use of AI in every field, and how it is said to destroy or ruin creativity. So, i used AI to promote creativity for young children which allows them to explore their interests and ideas.

What it does

It is an AI story writing/creating platform that will help a child turn small ideas and doodles into a story. AI acts as a supportive writing buddy — helping children develop their own ideas while keeping creativity and ownership in their hands.

How I built it

I developed and made the frontend using Netlify and deployed it using Lovable

Challenges I ran into

Keeping AI connected to child's idea. Balancing AI and human creativity - Making sure that the original idea of story and its continuation remain in the hands of AI Creating a Kid-Friendly Experience - The interface needed to be simple, engaging, and easy for children to understand.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of the fact that I got to complete it in the given time period with a working website. And of the fact that my first project + hackathon is a success.

What I learned

I learned how to use AI efficiently and productively. Web-development, and how to transform my ideas into a working model.

What's next for StorySprout

I am planning to add more features in the future which includes: narration which conveys emotions, music according to the mood of the story, popular children's stories.
