Inspiration Many students and beginners struggle to clearly understand and verify their actual skill levels. Recruiters and learners often rely only on resumes, which may not reflect real capabilities. This inspired us to build SkillVerify AI, a simple and smart way to analyze skills using AI. What it does SkillVerify AI allows users to select their skills (like Web Development, AI/ML, Python, Java, etc.) and provides an AI-style analysis of their profile. It helps users get quick insights into their strengths and areas of improvement. How we built it We built SkillVerify AI as a web-based application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The UI is designed to be clean and interactive, simulating AI-driven analysis to give users a smooth experience. Challenges we ran into Designing a clean and responsive UI in limited time Structuring the project idea clearly for a hackathon Simulating AI behavior without a full backend Accomplishments that we're proud of Successfully built and deployed a working web project Clear and user-friendly skill selection interface Strong concept that can be expanded into a real AI product What we learned We learned how to turn an idea into a functional project, improve frontend design skills, and present a project effectively in a hackathon environment. What's next for SkillVerify AI In the future, we plan to integrate real AI models, user authentication, detailed skill reports, and resume/profile analysis to make SkillVerify AI more powerful and useful.
