Storypad is a Token Gated community of Readers and Writers where writers can share their stories, charge fees to give access to a digital copy, and give special access to readers having their NFT membership.

1) A writer can add a story by filling up this form. A writer needs to share an introduction of the story and then for the rest of the content writer can decide whether they want to post it for free or want to charge readers to give access to the full story.

Here writer can also choose to give a special discount or give free access to all the NFT holders.

2) Create NFT Readership NFT Readership is a kind of membership where only specific number of readers will get a chance to support the writer by purchasing NFT to be part of the Writer's Reader Club.

Imagine where J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter and if you got a chance to support her work by purchasing her NFT and become one of the early believers of her work.

Here writer needs to fill in details like the Title of the minting collection, the total number of NFTs and price of the NFT in Matic or USDC.

Let's say if I write 50 in total NFT supply then this will create 50 different tokens with Token id and Title and readers can buy this limited number of NFTs at the price of 100 Matic which I mentioned while filling up the form. We got inspired by project Loot and Developer Dao memberships to create random NFT image metadata with token ids and names.

To build this platform we have used Web3 storage to save stories in decentralized storage of IPFS and used Polygon to deploy smart contracts of ERC 721 NFT membership.

We learned a lot while building this project and next we will be adding random quotes from the author's story as NFT Image on chain, providing a way for writers to run an airdrop campaign for their reader's club.
