Inspiration
I was inspired by people who sent online wedding invitations email. Therefore, I planned how to develop a project where users can customize their message to the audience, whether a wedding invitation or a launching of a product.
What it does
Users have some options to choose to craft their messages based on their preferred themes and display styles. For e.g, users will choose between the themes "casual" or "formal" to craft their message that suits the message the best.
How I built it
I used HTML, CSS, and Javascript to build the project. I also incorporated outside sources to stylize the background images.
Challenges I ran into
Using Javascript is quite challenging since I'm pretty newbie to the programming language. However, I am proud of the interactivity the project displays when coding in Javascript.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The UX looks simplistic! It's also a big project that I have full control of.
What I learned
The UI/UX is an important part of building the project. I learnt how intuitive and simple it should be that can ease user experience.
What's next for StoryMe
I plan to add more themes and displays to cater to a greater number of message styles that users can choose from. Additionally, I plan to upgrade the look of the website to a more professional feel.
