I have always been interested in the Biblical story of King David and his son Absalom. It really has all the stuff needed for a great soap opera or Victorian family saga. I therefore chose to create a historical pseudo-documentary, or docu-drama, and put a lot of time and effort into research and into the creative process itself: building the characters carefully (both "experts" and protagonists), incorporating research materials, and then finally creating the reference images, animating them, building the musical score and editing. It was not an easy task, and consumed hours and days (well, mostly nights), for instance - it was necessary to maintain character consistency, to struggle with Google Flow when it refused to create videos of children or other elements which are barred for some reason, etc. But I enjoyed it immensely! and I fell in love with some of the characters (David, for instance, is so utterly and extremely human, he is flawed and imperfect just like any of us. Or Joab, his General, who seems to be almost inhuman but does have some feelings underneath)/ I used a plethora of tools, including Midjourney, Google VEO3 (Flow), Suno, ElevenLabs, Kling, Topaz Labs, Wondershare Filmora).
