Manga Story Builder

Inspiration

As an avid manga enthusiast with a vivid imagination, I've always dreamed of crafting my own captivating stories but lacked the artistic skills to bring them to life visually. This project was born out of a desire to harness the power of AI technology to bridge that gap, allowing me to transform my narrative visions into tangible manga experiences.

What it does

The app takes your story idea and fleshes it out, dividing the narrative into engaging pages or sections. Complementing the text, it employs AI technology to generate visual representations for each page, effectively bringing your story to life through words and imagery.

How we built it

Using PartyRock, and a ton of prompt engineering

Challenges we ran into

Prompt engineering is extremely difficult and wrangling the LLMs to do what I wanted was and is still very tough

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to get something working and the images are the not what I wanted exactly but it will sometimes produce results that I am happy with

What we learned

Continuing to learn how to use LLMs and how to prompt engineer things to do what I want them to do

What's next for Story Builder

Continue to work on the prompts hopefully be able to use the LLMs better and continue to iterate
