Storm Risk is a web-based application calculation potential house loss during the hurricane events. Storm-Risk is a multi-disciplinary project involving meteorology, statistics, civil engineering, and computer science.

The strom-risk is inspired by the last hurricane season when homeowners suffered a great loss. Florida has a large number of residential homes at risk of hurricanes. Strom-risk is based on the current trends in the risk modeling industry. For best of the knowledge of authors, it is the only available open source application for the private homeowners to calculate their potential losses.
