Inspiration
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many small businesses to suddenly shut down due to less people heading outside. This website aims to bring storefronts through the internet and provide a user-friendly experience while doing so.
What it does
The Yelp API is used to sort through countless registered stores through a search done by the user, returning related businesses.
How we built it
React was used to design the website along with Booststrap for CSS. Axios was used to pull from the Yelp API.
Challenges we ran into
React was challenging as our team members had only recently learned how to use it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully using React to make a good website along with integration with the Yelp API.

What's next for Storefront
In the future, we hope to implement a better UI and a way to better determine smaller businesses, as our current algorithm is not as good as we'd like.
