Inspiration

The idea behind StoreRoom is to make simpler and more efficient than ever to store files on IPFS. Our user-friendly application connects with IPFS with your crypto wallet.

What it does

It maximizes performance, the storage solution includes a file compression, and image resizing when uploading. You can view and download the files directly on the IPFS gateway through our dashboard. This look a like google drive

How we built it

Frontend was built in React.js with CSS and the API was built using python FastApi. The packages used to built are web3.storage, wagmi, ethers

Challenges we ran into

It was quite hard to install the necessary packages altogether, and it took some time to Host the Application on online platforms

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It works as a efficient way to store files on IPFS and its acts as a web3 storage drive with a secure key with your wallet.

What we learned

Learnt new technologies, worked with lot of web3 packages.

What's next for Store Room

We can extend the application to delete the files permenently
