Inspiration

• As we all know, Now as this kind of attacks are most common and the most targeted are the non-technical persons. And the impact is huge and sometime critical that they steal some sensitive information i.e., credit cards, etc..

What it does

• It is Detects multiple redirection and fetch the end address.

How we built it

• We built it using the JavaScript and the API

Challenges we ran into

• The most challenging part is to fetch the URL on every click from the webpage.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Accomplish the expectations from our product that gives security to the even non-technical person.

What we learned

We learned many new things in this project that how actually the web browser extension works in real time. and how the exact URL is fetched using the API.

What's next for StopPhish

We're scaling the project for that it'll work for the all other browsers as well like firefox,edge,etc. currently we this product is for the chrome browser.
