Inspiration

I was inspired by the chaos of managing personal finances—juggling stocks, mortgages, and housing trends felt like a full-time job, so I dreamed up "Stonks," an app to make wealth-building simple and approachable for everyone.

What it does

"Stonks" is your pocket financial guru: a chatbot answers money questions, a stocks portfolio analyzer tracks and optimizes investments, a mortgage calculator breaks down home loan costs, and a housing price explorer maps out real estate trends and opportunities.

How I built it

I crafted "Stonks" with a mix of cutting-edge AI for the chatbot, robust APIs for real-time stock and housing data, and a clean, intuitive interface—built on a scalable cloud framework to handle all the number-crunching seamlessly.

Challenges I ran into

Syncing live financial data was a headache, training the chatbot to avoid jargon took patience, and balancing a sleek design with heavy functionality tested our resolve—but I powered through with caffeine and teamwork.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm thrilled to have created a chatbot that feels like a friend, nailed a portfolio analyzer that’s both powerful and user-friendly, and launched a housing explorer that’s already spotting hidden gems for beta testers.
