Everyone says trading is hard. How hard can it be? (pretty hard!)

What it does

Arbitrage to make money.

How we built it

In python using the optiver IDE.

Challenges we ran into

Hard to trade without breaking the rules of the market, otherwise you get penalised very heavily. Any complex algorithm is very hard to implement in practice.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Got cool stash! Lost A LOT of money in testing.

What we learned

Trading is indeed very hard, but definitely doable.

What's next for Stonks

Make some lizard men! (ask Marshall Wace ;) )
