Do you get on Reddit and Quora and all you see is fan wars... right 😅, I mean, If you are so passionate about something, you might as well make money from it... 😋

What it does

Stoked gives you a chance to stake on your picks and win. Your picks are displayed for voting and best option wins the vote.

When the voting ends, one lucky winner from the voters keeps the entire bag 💰 if the vote limit has been reached.

How we built it

Architecture Diagram

The app was built with the help of the React Library and the Metis Polis. It's currently on the Metis Rinkeby Testnet migrating to Stardust Testnet soon

The application is accessible to users with Metamask using the Rinkeby Network.

DO NOT USE THIS APP ON YOUR MAINNET YET

Challenges we ran into

  • Had some issue deploying to the stardust testnet.
  • Couldn't find enough tutorials for metis live deployment for my specific dapp
  • Some issues with deploying with hardhat

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Proud to get it running on the Metis Rinkeby Testnet
  • We were also able to achieve great rendering all different kinds of views.

What we learned

  • There still so much more to learn
  • I also had deeper understanding about developing solidity contracts
