StockStory provides solutions to those studying historical stock value trends and analyzing their correlation with a company's relative news attention. StockStory allows users to view real trends in data and determine the real reasons behind these trends.

Historical Stock Data

Historical stock data is fetched using the Yahoo Finance API and displayed using Chart.js, a JavaScript chart drawing library. Users can interact with the graph and click to view news headlines from that week.

News Stories

News stories are fetched using the Guardian API for archived news articles. Using the Dandelion Sentiment API, each article is assigned a percentage score indicating its sentiment.
