📈 StockSim – Our Hackonomics Journey
“Why isn’t learning the stock market as easy and risk-free as playing a game?”
That simple question sparked the beginning of StockSim.
During the Hackonomics Hackathon, we—Tanmay, Sahil, and Snehal—came together with a shared vision:
to make stock market education accessible, interactive, and risk-free for beginners.
🚨 The Problem
Many people are curious about investing but:
- 😟 Fear losing money
- 🧠 Don’t know where to begin
- 🏦 Find the market overwhelming and complex
So, we built StockSim —
A simulator where users are given $10,000 in virtual cash to explore the stock market using mock real-time behavior, with zero financial risk.
