Inspiration

Understanding companies and stock markets is often overwhelming for beginners. Most platforms provide complex financial data, graphs, and jargon that are difficult to interpret without prior knowledge.
As a student entering the tech field, I wanted to build something that simplifies this complexity and makes financial awareness more accessible. The idea behind StockSense AI was to create a platform that explains company data in a way that even a beginner can understand.

What it does

StockSense AI is an AI-powered platform that allows users to:

• Explore companies and their key details (industry, size, ownership)
• View simplified financial insights (profit, growth trends)
• Understand relationships between companies (parent & subsidiaries)
• Get AI-generated explanations in simple language
• Receive beginner-friendly insights for smarter decision-making
  

We aim to transform complex financial data into something intuitive and easy to explore.

How we built it

This project was built using MeDo AI, a no-code AI-powered app development platform.

⚙️ Workflow:

• Used natural language prompts to generate the app structure
  
• Designed a dashboard-style UI for company exploration
  
• Integrated sample/mock data to simulate real-world company insights
  
• Leveraged AI to generate simplified explanations and insights

Challenges we ran into

• 📉 Data Availability: Real-time financial APIs require setup and authentication, so we used structured mock data for demonstration
