Stockex

Inspiration

The inspiration for Stockex, our decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, stemmed from the desire to address the existing barriers and limitations in traditional investment markets. We recognized that many individuals were unable to access certain investment opportunities due to high entry costs or geographical restrictions. Additionally, the limited trading hours of traditional stock exchanges restricted investors' ability to capitalize on market movements. We wanted to create a solution that would democratize access to investment opportunities and provide users with greater control over their investments.

What it does

Enables trading of custom tokens representing real-world assets. Reduces the threshold amount required to invest in high-priced stocks. Enables 24/7 trading of tokens even when traditional stock exchanges are closed. Integrates advanced security measures such as multi-sig and collateralization. Integrates with other DeFi protocols to provide more opportunities for passive income and investment management.

How we built it

Conducted research on blockchain, DeFi, and smart contract development. Developed smart contracts using Solidity programming language. Built a user-friendly platform with token trading, wallet management, and transaction monitoring. Integrated smart contracts with the platform and performed thorough testing. Ensured security and compliance with legal experts' assistance.
