Inspiration - Our inspiration was that the stock market is only going to increase in importance in the future. We wanted to make a predictor that helps everyone, especially those new to the stock market, predict prices and see if it is safe to invest or not.
How we built it - Using Python. We imported stock data from over 20 companies.
Challenges we ran into - All of the stock data is from before 2014, thus the predictor is only able to predict 1200 days after 2014.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - Our code is able to predict the upper range and lower ranger estimates of the stock values.
What we learned - How to import data to the directory and how to build graphs in python.
What's next for Stock Price Predictor - Building it into an app and trying to use more current data and training it to make more accurate predictions.
