Inspiration

A desire to fill in this small part of the analysis market

What it does

It pulls information about a desired stock from reputable sources and gives you a brief analysis on its public appearance using OpenAI.

How we built it

Using python, we made a list of reliable news sources and retrieved the headlines using news companies' API and fed the OpenAI model for displaying information.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge that we faced was being able to get the APIs' to work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to create an application in 24 hours even though none of us has ever been to a hackathon.

What we learned

We learned about working in a group setting, how to feed the AI to display specific information, and retrieving APIs' from news sites.

What's next for Stock Media Analyzer

We plan on adding features and more reliable resources to provide the user the best experience.
