Inspiration
A decision can remain historically justified while becoming unsuitable for a new use. Returning to a project should recover its reasons, not quietly turn yesterday's answer into today's instruction.
What it does
Still True? reviews one selected decision against a bounded set of project documents and supplied changes. It separates three questions: was the original decision supported, is it suitable now, and is a replacement adequately supported?
It proposes one new versioned Markdown bundle containing a Checkpoint, Decision, Findings and optional Open Questions. Source evidence is linked rather than repeatedly summarized. Predecessors remain intact, proposed revisions are not automatically adopted, and saved results require readback.
How we built it
A newly developed Markdown-only Uliya skill uses the official UGREEN developer package. It delegates file inspection, document comparison and authorized evidence saving to the corresponding platform experts. The package includes two linked Markdown references and no executable code or third-party libraries.
James Mayo directs and reviews the work. AI collaborators Sheila and Arden assisted design, drafting, platform review and synthetic evaluation. Shel contributed the four-record structure and selective-reconsideration framing.
Challenges and lessons
An inaccessible source does not disprove a historical finding, but it does limit what can be verified now. Similarly, identifying a mismatch does not establish a good replacement. We made those judgments separate and made the tiny demo produce exactly one file, without assuming transactional multi-file saves.
Progress and what comes next
The v5 package passes the official static checker. An earlier synthetic v1 case was exercised across fresh local agent contexts, not on UGREEN hardware. This is not validation of v5 or a claim of operational NAS integration.
Finalist testing would cover fresh-session decision recovery, changed versus irrelevant requirements, and a moved or unreadable source. We would inspect source fidelity, affected scope, preserved history and actual save/readback behavior. Platform delegation, permissions, model/provider data handling and diagnostics still need target testing.
