Inspiration
A paper calendar with stickers is one of the most satisfying little rituals there is: you finish the day, you peel a sticker, you press it down. Sticker Day brings that ritual to SPECS, so your wall, your desk or your fridge becomes a sticker calendar that only you can see.
What it does
Sticker Day is a Lens for Snap Spectacles. A board of the month floats in front of you. Pinch to peel a sticker from the sheet, choose your best moment of the day, and place it on today's square. Stickers pop, whoosh and chime so every placement feels good. If you place one in the wrong spot, it slides back to the sheet. A gentle reminder nudges you to log your day, and you can flip between views of your month.
Why glasses
Placing a sticker is a physical gesture, and SPECS lets the calendar live in your space where you can reach out and press it down, hands free, instead of tapping a phone screen.
How I built it
Built in Lens Studio 5.24.1 on the SPECS Base Template with Spectacles Interaction Kit and UI Kit. I planned the experience with the plan-lens skill, then built and verified it with Claude Code and the Lens Studio CLAD plugin, using LEAF scenario tests (5 passing) that cover the opening view, picking the best moment, a wrong-placement recovery, views and reminder, and a full day.
What's proven and what isn't
Proven: the full flow runs in Lens Studio Interactive Preview and passes all 5 LEAF tests. Not yet proven: real hand tracking and reach on physical glasses, and how the art and shimmer look on the display. Spectacles use an additive display, so I designed with light colors because dark colors look see-through.
Assets and AI disclosure
Sticker art (cats, stars, mood stickers, flowers, sticker sheet) was generated with ChatGPT and Gemini and edited by me (background removal and cutouts). UI sounds (peel, pop, whoosh, chime) and the background music were generated with ElevenLabs and trimmed or edited by me. Lens code and logic were built with Claude Code and the Lens Studio CLAD plugin.
