Inspiration:

we (all) urgently need simple ways to sterilize contaminated aerosols and surfaces to help those who currently help society. What it does

it destroys DNA in microdroplets in the passing air and produces some ozone, which also contributes to the decontamination This can be done as a walk-through portal, or as a mobile or stationary on demand system. (No long term UV exposure to humans is allowed). The UV light will be switched off during walk through of persons

How we built it

Design concept is a portal (like a 4-sided door frame) with special light bars (UV parallel light) and light absorbing surfaces

Challenges we ran into

Decontaminate the ambient air including the aerosol without impairing personal mobility within health Buildings and possibly to protect cashiers in supermarkets etc.

What we learned

In our team we try new approaches, new techniques, new technologies, and we assess the capability as a product, sometimes in competition to a colleagues technical approach. We work agile. expertise: Light and illumination technique, optical measuring technique, AI, general physics, Biology, rapid development methods and measurement solutions. What's next for sterilizing light curtain

We know how to build a PoC functioning model, we could build one in 2 weeks. Minimum Viable Product: 2month, 4 people. We are good at building hi tech specialised equipment in low numbers, we would need a production Partner for series.
