Inspiration
We were inspired to make a game that involved walking.
What it does
It promotes walking as a way to relax and unwind with a step count and a fun story mode.
How we built it
We built it with an esp32, firebase, android studios, and an accelerometer.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges such as learning how to use android studios and firebase for the first time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have something that can represent the core of what we wanted our project to do.
What we learned
We learned that hackathons are a lot more taxing than we thought.
What's next for Step Story
The next step for Step story is to implement more game features such as a multiplayer platform, a GPS tracking system for users to learn more about the surrounding alongside with the Step Storyline, and a coin/gatcha system.
