Challenges we ran into

Our ides required coding but coming in with 0 coding experience, we had to learn all the coding from tutorials to try and implement something. High amounts of burnout. Slow laptop that was loading when backspacing, delaying our project. Scaling issue when drawing and importing custom sprites. Designing each tiles by hand without importation. Not knowing how to use GitHub or do version control.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Staying awake for 24 hours, producing the beta version of a game in 19 hours coming from nothing including: character movement and trying new things giving our best in the short time frame with complete strangers and now new friends.

What we learned

During the process, we have overcome challenges like coding and designing sprites & tiles together & text boxes & character movement. With trial and error as well as discussion among ourselves, we managed to collaborate together as a team and produced Stem Valley.

What's next for Stem Valley

Launching in 2025 , beta version testing for glitches & bugs for 5 pounds . ONLY AFTER ANELISE GETS HER NEW LAPTOP WITH NO LAG.
