About one in three American adults asked an AI chatbot about their health last year. This year, a study in BMJ Open found professionals rated half of chatbot answers to health questions problematic. Much of that is preventable. To give better advice, an assistant needs your real medical history over time, research that is checked for quality, and tools that help you make sense of everything you're told.
Stellis is an open-source AI agent that knows your whole medical history and helps you understand it. It can search the web, but it's built to keep your records private.
Understand. Upload a lab report, and Stellis dates it, summarizes it, and lists every result, each tied to its row on the page. Ask a question, and the answer cites the exact lines it used. When a question needs outside research, Stellis searches Tavily, MedlinePlus and PubMed with queries that contain nothing personal. Public sources are cited separately from your records.
Log. When a clinician changes a medicine, Stellis quotes the clinician's words and adds the change only after you approve it. Stellis never changes a medicine itself. If you ask whether to stop one, a fixed rule, not the AI model, sends you back to your prescriber.
Monitor. Between visits, you can check your pulse, breathing and heart rate variability with your laptop camera. The video is processed in the browser and never leaves your device.
Chart. Every result from your records is charted, and each value links back to its report. Home readings sit beside lab results on one timeline.
How it's built
- Hosting: Stellis runs on its own server on Nebius AI Cloud. Records are encrypted at rest and zero-access: Stellis can't read what's stored.
- Models: they're served through Nebius Token Factory with zero data retention, and personal details are stripped before any search query leaves the server.
- Research: done by NVIDIA Nemotron Super 120B with Tavily. Super scored highest in our tests on synthetic patient records.
- Routing: each other task goes to the Nemotron size that tested best for it.
- Guardrails: answers may only use the sources they're given, and every citation is checked against its source.
Stellis is an agent for your health records, on your side.
