An App Inspiration
My app began as an exploration of how technology might support the way teachers prepare and deliver learning experiences.
The project grew from my own classroom work and a desire to experiment with new approaches to educational software.
What it does
My app is an experimental teaching platform focused on interactive learning and classroom presentation.
It explores ways technology can support educators while keeping the teacher at the center of the learning experience. How I built it
The app was developed during Build Week using modern web technologies alongside AI-assisted development tools, including GPT-5.6 and Codex.
The project evolved through continuous experimentation, testing, and refinement.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge was finding the right balance between technology, simplicity, and the realities of classroom use.
Designing something that feels useful without becoming distracting required considerable iteration.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I’m proud that the app progressed from an idea into a working educational experiment.
More importantly, it gave me an opportunity to explore how my experience as an educator could influence the design of new teaching tools.
What I learned
Building this app strengthened my understanding of AI-assisted software development and the process of translating educational ideas into working technology.
It also reinforced the importance of keeping technology supportive rather than making it the center of the classroom.
What's next for the app
My app will continue to evolve privately.
There are several directions I intend to explore, but for now, the project remains an ongoing experiment in education, technology, and interactive learning.
