Professor Rating Summary

Students usually don't know their professors. This project seeks to simplify the ratings of each professor and dissect it by year to make it easier to see how ratings have shifted in recent years.

Inspiration

I took a course where the ratings left for the professor varied wildly. Some loved the professor's teaching style, some hated it. After experiencing the professor's teaching style and going back over the ratings on Rate My Professor, I realized that they had shifted dramatically in recent years, rendering previous years' ratings obsolete.

What it does

I want to help students to look up their professors and be able to view ratings by year, so they can see the trend of the ratings.

How I built it

I used Google's Breadboard and modeled my project using the examples given.

Challenges I ran into

I began this project with a team, but eventually I realized that I was wildly unprepared for the initial project we had planned. We chose to complete separate projects, because Breadboard isn't able to support multiple users halfway thought the day. I also had a lot of difficulty while trying to figure out how to use Breadboard.
