Inspiration
With “A.I. acting” suddenly in the zeitgeist, this project leans into the absurdity of the moment: if an A.I. could be cast as an actor like a human, what would its challenges be—branding, continuity, exploitation, fandom?
The film is satire, not a jab at performers. It plays with the weirdness of seeing A.I. framed as a “star” to make the topic vivid and funny.
How It was made
Built primarily with Google Veo 3 (text-to-video), which excels at realism but complicates continuity compared with image-to-video. To keep a coherent “performance,” I created prompts via a shot bible (look, wardrobe, lighting) and anchor prompts, and iterative retakes, then unified everything in edit, sound design (including ElevenLabs for some voices), and color. The process foregrounds craft: stitching algorithmic outputs into something intentionally staged—so the joke lands without undercutting the value of human work.
