Inspiration

The inspiration behind creating this application is that education is crucial for the development of a country and society. As an important factor in the choice of schools for students and parents, school district housing has a profound impact on the educational growth of children. By developing this application, I hope to provide parents and students with a convenient way to search for and understand school district housing information from various parts of China, helping them make wiser educational decisions. This project is not only a technological exploration but also a contribution to the education industry.

What it does

The application allows users to easily search for the middle and primary schools available in their residential areas and to query the coverage scope of schools. Through tables, search functions, and AI Q&A, it helps users quickly find the desired school district information.

How we built it

Building this project is a multi-stage process. First, I need to collect data on school district housing from various locations, including school rankings, educational quality, and living convenience. Then, I will establish a website or mobile application to present this data, allowing users to search and filter according to their own needs. To provide more intelligent services, I will integrate ChatGPT's question-answering capabilities, enabling users to ask questions in natural language and obtain more in-depth school district housing information and advice.

Challenges we ran into

During the project construction process, I may face some challenges. First, data collection and organization are a large and complex task that requires ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the data. Second, integrating ChatGPT's question-answering capabilities may require dealing with model deployment and performance optimization issues to ensure fast and accurate responses to user requests. In addition, as the number of users of the application grows, server load and performance optimization are also issues that need to be considered. When facing these challenges, I will continue to learn and try new solutions to ensure the success and continuous improvement of the project.

What we learned

During the construction of this project, I learned a lot of technical and domain knowledge. First, I gained an in-depth understanding of web development technologies, including the construction of front-end and back-end. Second, integrating ChatGPT's question-answering capabilities involves natural language processing and artificial intelligence technologies, and I learned how to integrate advanced language models into existing applications to enhance the user experience. Additionally, I learned how to handle large-scale datasets to provide accurate and comprehensive school district housing information.
