Steady Slay

This project was inspired by the visit of one of our team to the hospital and meeting a teenage girl who suffers from cerebral palsy, called Sisca. When telling a story, this girl with her limited ability to speak tries to say what she really wants to do. And the answer is "Makeup" on its own merits. She often watches beauty influencers on social media and wants to be beautiful like them. Unfortunately, every time she tries to make up her eyes, the makeup tools stab her eyes or hit other parts of her face, making it a mess because of her uncontrollable hand. From Sisca's story, our team came up with an idea for Revolutionize Your Eye Makeup Routine which can help Laura and other people with hand tremor problems to be able to do their eye makeup and feel confident about it.

Steady Eye is an integrated smart eye makeup applicator mobile application that's a game-changing solution for effortless and accurate makeup application for hand tremors. Its product consists of a mobile application and smart eye makeup applicator. Introducing the smart eye makeup applicator is a revolutionary tool for those with hand tremors. Made with adaptive bend silicon material and powered by stabilizer technology, it provides a stable and adaptive handler movement to ensure stable eye product application. With a strong hand grip, fast-charging technology, and a rechargeable battery, you can enjoy a stress-free and efficient makeup experience. Our innovative makeup product offers several key features to enhance accessibility and convenience. Our magnet top packaging makes it easy to open and prevents scattering of the four products, while the Stick Technology allows the packaging to stand on any surface. The all-in-one smart applicator provides eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, and eye brush functionality in a single tool.

Besides physical products, we also support the customer journey technologically through mobile applications that allow users to operate it without their hands and only use their head and eye movement. SteadySlay allows for no-hand app usage. You can control and turn on no-hand navigation, making it easier than ever to apply eye makeup with precision. SteadySlay's features include pointer movement according to eye movement, blinking twice quickly to click, tilting your head to the left twice to go back to the previous page, nodding your head up and down to scroll up and down, and clapping your hands to exit no-hand mode.

With our AI Make Up Look Generator, you can Get a Slay Look Recommendation With What You Have. Simply input the makeup products you have into your personal list within the app. And if typing is too difficult, simply scan the product to identify it in seconds. Once your products are confirmed and added to your personal list, the in-app AI technology generates makeup recommendations for you.

And with AR technology, you can see exactly how the makeup will look on you before you even apply it. With the help of artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms, SteadySlay can analyze your facial features and recommend personalized makeup tips.

Once you receive your personalized makeup tips, SteadySlay proactively delivers actionable information to your smart applicator. The smart applicator uses a slider crank mechanism to move based on the systematic order received, making precise eye makeup applications a breeze. And the best part? SteadySlay doesn't require a network connection, thanks to our Bluetooth and IR sensor technology.

Since we join the idea track, we more focus on how we can empathize with our target customers through research with design thinking methods. The research we did such as having in-depth interviews with target users and experts, brainstorming to find the root of problems, ideating solution, realizing it in form of prototypes using Figma, and finally testing the prototype for the real users. we hope steady slay will become a solution for those who challenging with hand tremors, especially in their eye, and makeup activities.
