Feel the number

Inspiration

Some people see the number. But it is very hard to get the feeling and grasp what the situation is like. We have tried to eliminate this gap.

What it does

It will show not only the heat map of the infection number but also the video that shows the situation in those nations.

How I built it

We have used ChartJS for plotting the confirmed cases, deaths, and recovered cases per country and jQuery Mapael to create the heat map of the confirmed cases per country.

Challenges I ran into

Very hard to find videos and data for developing countries.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

That the website is working and also shows the video that are embedded.

What I learned

I have learned a lot about the difference in response among nations. In addition, I have learned a new programing language, especially on the front end.
