Inspiration

Some people like busy-students don't know the significance of caring for their health and their wellness throughout their lives. Some people don't even have the time to look at ways and spend time researching. This was my inspiration to make ways to improve health and wellness and make it more accessible to people. People around me also lead busy and complicated lives and this program could give them breaks to take care of themselves.

What it does

Cariefy is an Interactive Program that helps people/users gain more knowledge about their health and wellness. It show users ways and activities that they could do to help improve their wellness levels. It has many visuals and audios that are easy-to-use tools. Overall, it gives several options to users without any further research or having to go to other platforms. They can gain knowledge and use that knowledge to do activities that they like on the platform itself.

How I built it

I built this program using HTML, CSS, and a little bit of Javascript. Also, I used Visual Studio Code to build this program. With the functions of HTML and CSS, I made multiple classes and divided them into each of the sections/tools that function throughout the program.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into challenges with creating the buttons that help the users navigate throughout the program. So I had to make an alternate option that worked the same way and even gave me more options to show my creativity!

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Some accomplishments that I'm proud of are formatting and styling the sections and making the greeting question. I'm proud of styling the questions in a way where it is both convenient and colourful. I'm proud of making the question and even having feedback after answering which is also a nice tool.

What I learned

I learned way more html and css functions that I already knew. I have coded javascript on visual studio code before but I actually never designed a website with all the html and css functions on visual studio code. I have coded html and css on other platforms and it was a little bit different on visual studio code. Overall, I got to know more about Visual Studio Code and the html and css languages.

What's next for Careify

To improve the program Careify, I plan on making more activity sections that give the users more variety on their interests. I want to add more hobbies and interests from looking at different points of view. I might also add more tools to make users find what they like using filters!
