Inspiration
Status meetings should be short, but people tend to talk to long. We need to fix that!
What it does
This skill will run the status meeting with parameters you provide, and keep everybody to their allotted time.
How we built it
We defined the MVP and divided up aspects we needed to test. Each team member helped solve a problem or investigate how to implement some aspect of this skill.
Challenges we ran into
We considered using notifications, but that is in beta. We found another way to keep a longer-running interaction going during the meeting.
What's next for Status Master
We think there is a lot of value in recording and transcribing the meetings. Archiving audio files and notes. Integrating with e-mail services like gmail and outlook Defining meetings ahead of time, and start by name.
