Inspiration
Switching availability or DND across multiple apps is repetitive and easy to forget. Many people use Slack, Discord, Teams, WhatsApp, and others simultaneously, and changing status in each one breaks focus. The MX Creative Console provides a fast physical interface for status control, inspiring a unified solution that changes availability everywhere with a single action.
What it does
StatusHub is an MX Creative Console plugin that synchronizes your availability across multiple applications with one button press. Users can switch between modes like Available, Focus, Do Not Disturb, or Looking for Chat.
The console button changes your status instantly, while the dial sets the duration. When the timer expires, your status automatically returns to normal. Custom status messages can be edited and applied across supported apps.
How we built it
StatusHub is built using the Logitech Actions SDK in C#. The plugin integrates with the MX Creative Console and Actions Ring to control status modes and duration.
The plugin connects to communication platforms through their APIs to update presence automatically. The Creative Console buttons trigger status changes, and the dial adjusts the duration. Plugin settings allow users to connect services and customize status messages.
