Inspiration

There is less awareness about different types of insurance policies, offered by state farms, that the people can benefit from. We have tried to solve that problem through our app.

What it does

Provides personalized access to information about insurance policies. Our app asks users specific questions based on which it determines the best insurance coverages, and recommend these coverages that fit their need.

How we built it

We used React, Machine Learning, and third-party AI services, to recommend personalized insurance policies to customers.

Challenges we ran into

Modelling and training the chatbot; Technological issues - new to the progressive web app and React;

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completed the application we envisioned as part of the plan with all the features, deployed it on netlify, and installed it on the mobile device.

What's next for StateFarm - Protexive

Will train the chatbot to improve the customer and bot interactions. Will train the recommendation engine with the state farm data, if available.
