Inspiration

Experience found on Google Bard and Chat GPT. The existing experience on StateFarm's Personal Price Plan.

What it does

Provides a concise and simple auto quoting experience, with AI tools provide a special chat experience that empathizes teaching and assisting with insurance needs.

How we built it

Mobile Web app built with React, Vite, TailwindCSS. Leverages ChatGPT3.5 and Vin Decoder APIs.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into were using and integrating multiple API’s within a project for the first time. As well as being able to accomplish the most out of what we wanted from our project given the time we had. Learning how to utilize React and npm commands and also learning how to collaborate and share our code together. Lastly, trying not to fall asleep throughout the weekend when working on our project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Were proud of our ability to meet development deadlines regardless of our lack of experience. To have successfully implement APIs.

What we learned

We learned how to use GitHub, Tailwind CSS, React.js, NPM and Git commands, and manipulating API’s.

What's next for StateFarm Finn Auto Quoter

The future scope for StateFarm Finn is account management function like Login and SignUp. Frontend UI support for desktop.
