State of the Union: Word Usage Analysis

Description

This project analyzes both Obama's State of the Union Address of 2015, as well as Bush's State of the Union Address of 2005, and compares the usage of several key phrases and words, including "middle-class", "jobs", "opportunity", "tax", etc.

This is meant to provide an accurate look into the politician's priorities, as well as a refined, unbiased perspective on the events that were unfolding when the speech was given.

I would imagine a user of this project would be interested in the analysis of political figures and politics in general.

Personally, I love the feature of the sized words based on the usage of the word, as I thought that was a meaningful addition to the project and it truly visualizes the usage almost effortlessly.

Overall, although simple, I feel that this project is functional and that it very proficiently visualizes the data.
