What it does
Allows the user to look at different graphical representations of the black bear population versus the partisan makeup of state legislatures.
How we built it
We built this program using datasets on the populations of black bears per state and the partisan makeup of each state legislature. We unpacked the data to create graphs.
Challenges we ran into
Trying to create a function that can tell the user the black bear population and state legislation makeup for an inputted state. There is not much of an association between black bear populations and the partisan makeup of state legislatures.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to make multiple graphical representations of the data.
What we learned
It takes a lot of time to make graphs, and it is easy to lose track of time when making them. Make sure to leave time to create more functionality in your website.
What's next for State Black Bear Populations vs State Legislations
Creating more graphical representations of the data and allowing the user to find specific information for a certain state.
