🚀 About the Project — Startup Sense 💡 Inspiration

As students, we’ve all spent hours applying for internships on job portals — often with no responses. We wanted a smarter way to discover real opportunities. Startup Sense was born from the idea that instead of endlessly applying, what if an AI agent could detect when startups are growing and reach out directly at the right time with personalized emails?

🧠 What We Learned

We learned how different systems come together to create something autonomous and practical:

Redpanda for real-time event streaming

AI reasoning (StackAI / local logic) for writing personalized outreach

SMTP for automated email delivery

Sentry for monitoring and learning from results

It taught us not just tool usage, but the deeper fundamentals of event-driven systems, automation, and observability.
